emerald
a useful stone for developing clairvoyance & precognition. as
always you will want proper grounding with stones such as obsidian &
jasper, as well as truth-enhancing stones like lapis lazuli. however this
is a stone that is naturally grounded in many respects, & generally
"reliable." good results may be had combining it with labradorite for
clairvoyance, using only a chip-sized stone or 2. chips & even large
crystals are relatively inexpensive, you don't need a fancy jewelry cut
for your medicine bag.
combining stones with similar properties can be very powerful, so if
you're working on precognition & prophesy the other popular stone is
prehnite. prehnite also has a reputation for developing channeling with
higher-order entities, & this stone you will definitely want to ground as
it seems to be connected with the pineal gland. my personal
preference is for emerald alone since i find the combination powerful &
i am not working on channeling at this time. turquoise is a good combo
stone that is strongly connected to futuristic sagittarius & the 9th
house, & will help transmute negativity that the emerald may draw out
from you. (you can never have too much turquoise.) with this is mind,
the rule of thumb with any paranormal exploration is "be careful what
you ask for." there are of course many things you'd prefer not to know
if you knew them :P just remember the future is often rooted in the
past: if you don't like what you see, try changing your habits.
emerald is considered a stone one should not wear all the time: i.e.
use it for specific purposes. if you have it in jewelry, don't wear it every
day as this can be a powerful stone. for one thing, it has strong "draw
to the surface" purgative properties. the connection is strong for
poisons (which is one thing the ancients used it for) so if you smoke or
are around a lot of chemicals, the vibration of these things start coming
to the surface. you will probably want to add a cleaning or transmuting
stone to remove whatever it draws out. this "drawing out" is not always
a comfortable process, so care should be taken to keep the emerald
clean. in some ways it resembles malachite or bloodstone in feel
because of this "drawing out" property, tho you don't usually feel it
immediately. i have some larger emerald crystals that i only keep out
for an hour or so at a time, even next to a citrine cluster. i do however
keep a couple tiny chip-sized pieces in my main medicine bag which i
do not wear every day & do okay with this.
